LEONIA, NJ – A car accident was reported in the Interstate 95 Express Lanes of the New Jersey Turnpike in Leonia on Tuesday morning.
According to 511 New Jersey, the accident happened in the southbound lanes near where the New Jersey Turnpike crosses US 1&9 at about 8:30 a.m.
The right lane of two lanes was blocked, slowing traffic. Emergency crews worked quickly to clear the travel lanes to the righthand shoulder.
At this time, no injuries have been confirmed.
