CHERRY HILL TOWNSHIP, NJ – A vehicle accident took down a utility pole and power lines on Route 70 in Cherry Hill Township on Monday morning.
According to 511 New Jersey, the crash happened in the westbound lanes of Route 70 near Cuthbert Boulevard at about 6 a.m. The crash took down a utility pole and pulled down wires across the road.
Al lanes were closed and traffic was detoured around the accident scene. The lanes remained closed well into the afternoon while crews worked to make repairs.
There is no word at this time whether anyone was injured in the accident.
