73-year-old dies after Holland Township hit-and-run

HUNTERDON COUNTY, NJ – A 73-year-old man was left dying on the side of a road in Holland Township after a hit-and-run accident on Monday evening.

According to Nj.com, the driver struck the elderly man on County Road 519 near Gridley Circle Road just before 5:30 p.m. Authorities were notified of the accident when the body was spotted on the shoulder of the highway. The driver had already left the scene without calling for help for the elderly man.

The victim has been identified as Raymond Levandowski.

The accident remains under investigation.
