EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP, NJ (ATLANTIC COUNTY) – A 7-year-old girl was killed and three others were seriously injured in a head-on collision Friday in Egg Harbor, according to a report by BreakingAC.
It was the second fatal car accident in the township that night.
The accident happened around 5:30 p.m. near the intersection of Delilah Road and Elmwood Avenue when a Kia Optima driven by 26-year-old Jabril Williams, of Galloway Township, crossed into the lane of oncoming traffic. The girl died at the hospital from injuries sustained during the accident.
Brown was also airlifted to an area hospital due to her critical injuries.
It is not currently known what caused Williams to cross into the left lane.
According to the report, authorities closed off Delilah Road for around four hours for the cleanup and investigation of the accident.
The accident remains under investigation at this point.
