PARAMUS, NJ – According to Dailyvoice.com, a man was killed after being thrown from his motorcycle in a crash on Route 17 Wednesday night.
The 57-year-old lost control of his Harley Davidson near East Ridgewood Avenue and hit the guardrail. He then went airborne and hit a tree.
The single-vehicle accident occurred at about 8 p.m. The rider was pronounced dead at the scene.
The name of the rider is being withheld until officials can notify the next of kin.
The northbound lanes were expected to be closed late Wednesday night following the incident for a crash investigation.
