BERGEN COUNTY, NJ – A 52-year-old driver apparently suffered a drug overdose before a two-vehicle accident in Glen Rock on Tuesday evening.
According to Daily Voice, the driver was in a 2006 Nissan when he crashed with another car near the intersection of Maple Avenue and Rock Road at about 6:30 p.m.
The West Milford man, Jeffery Spurlock, was transported to the Valley Hospital in Ridgewood and was found to be under the influence of drugs.
Spurlock has been charged with DUI, careless driving, and charges related to his lack of license, registration, and insurance.
He has been arrested before on minor drug charges before.
