ABSECON, NJ – A 44-year-old driver died in a car accident in Absecon in the early morning on Sunday, according to a local news report.
The Pleasantville man was northbound in a 2006 Toyota Avalon on South Shore Road when the accident happened. At about 2:30 a.m., the vehicle flew off the road and struck a tree.
The driver, identified as Glen Mclean, was pronounced dead at the scene. He was the only person inside the vehicle.
Speed may have been a factor in the crash, however, the investigation is ongoing. The local police are asking witnesses to call the authorities with anything they might have seen.
