BEDMINSTER, NJ – A pedestrian was fatally struck by a driver on Route 287 in Bedminster early this morning, according to information from the Daily Voice.
The crash occurred at about 4:20 a.m. on the southbound side of the highway, near milepost 22.4, when a 24-year-old man from Somerset was reportedly walking in the roadway.
He was then struck by the driver of a Mazda passenger vehicle.
The victim died at the scene.
Authorities continue to investigate the fatal crash at this time.
