EWING, NJ – A 23-year-old female died following a two-vehicle collision on Thursday, according to reports.
The victim, Gabriella Nordgren, was driving on Lower Ferry Road when her vehicle accelerated into oncoming traffic and collided with another vehicle at approximately 11:53 a.m.
Nordgren and a 5-year-old passenger were trapped in her vehicle and later extricated by Township firefighters. Both were rushed to Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton.
Nordgren suffered serious injuries and later died of her injuries. The 5-year-old and the other driver had non life-threatening injuries.
The crash is under investigation.
