CAMDEN COUNTY, NJ – A 2-year-old child was taken by helicopter to a trauma center after being struck by a car in Waterford on Monday afternoon.
According to Daily Voice, the accident happened in the 1800 block of Bisbee Avenue shortly before 2 p.m.
CPR was already being performed on the child when authorities arrived on the scene. A helicopter was called and transported the child to a local trauma center. The victim remains in critical condition.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
