GLEN ROCK, NJ – Two women were injured yesterday afternoon when a Jeep veered into their lane and collided with their vehicle head-on, Daily Voice reports.

The incident happened just before 1:30 p.m. on Monday, when a 2019 Jeep headed south out of Saddle River County Park swerved into the northbound lanes of Prospect Avenue and struck an oncoming Honda Civic.

The Civic’s driver, a 27-year-old woman from Henrico, VA, was transported to Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, as was her passenger, a 38-year-old woman from Dumont. Neither is believed to have been seriously injured.

The Jeep’s driver, a 44-year-old man, declined medical transport.

Both vehicles were seriously damaged, as was a nearby house and a utility pole.

Investigations are ongoing.
