NEWARK, NJ – A 15-year-old was hurt after a fire spread to three homes in Newark yesterday morning, according to NJ.com.
The fire began in the 100 block of S 11th Street at about 11 a.m. in a two-story residence, before spreading to two nearby homes.
A 15-year-old boy was taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation injuries.
A family of four children and one adult was displaced as a result of the fire.
Firefighters managed to get the blaze under control at around 12:15 p.m.
The accident remains under investigation at this time.
