ATLANTIC CITY, NJ – According to NJ.com, a 12-year-old boy crashed stolen car into a utility pole on Monday morning after speeding through the city.
Authorities received a call about the young boy speeding through the city at about 9:50 a.m. The child driver ignored officers who attempted to pull him over and evaded them until he crashed in the 600 block of Connecticut Avenue.
The boy was transported to a local hospital and was released from there to his mother after being charged with eluding, receiving stolen property and other motor vehicle summons.
The car the boy was driving had been stolen earlier in the day.
