CRANBURY TOWNSHIP, NJ (MIDDLESEX COUNTY) – A one-year-old is dead and four others are injured following a crash involving an Amazon Prime truck last night. A three-year-old is among those injured.
News 12 New Jersey reports that the accident occurred around 11 p.m. on the New Jersey Turnpike, near Cranbury Township.
The Amazon Prime truck, which was allegedly speeding at the time, struck the rear end of a passenger vehicle and trapped all the occupants, including two children, inside.
The victims had to be extricated from the wreckage by crane.
The youngest child, a one-year-old, died. The other child, aged three, received serious injuries, according to the report.
There is no information available regarding the identity of the victims or the condition of the other passengers.
